Unplugged performance DIY chrome delete?

Has anyone applied this? $495 seems a little pricey for something that will take a bit of work. Has anyone used this kit or similar? I can't imagine it would be too difficult. I've done some (crappy) interior window tint before in my home so if I can do that a bit of trim should be manageable.

I actually like how they’ve designed the trim for the mirror base, exposing some of the chrome. However at $495 for DIY vinyl it still is expensive seeing that some shops charge $600ish installed. Hoping someone else will come out with a DIY kit.

That is pretty much what I was thinking. It isn't rocket science.

Anyone have any recent experience or seen other options? Definitely interested in getting a chrome delete, but trying to decide whether to do it myself.

I think buying the raw materials is the other option. Then hit YouTube academy...
I might just do that. Maybe.
