Picked up the car today so sick.... all the things I saw in the pictures were pretty much either not really there and it was the camera/dirt or it was fixed... it's wasn't all great though. When I picked up my car I found out that the front speakers are blown it sounds all muffled.. so I'm driving back from vegas to cali with pretty much just the tears. Sounds good still just not great. Another thing is the gen 1 seats I cant tell the difference because I don't remember how the gen 2 seats feel so I hope to never sit on a newer model 3 lol.. I'm at the supercharger loading up on energy right now.. hopefully everyone who got a fire sale tesla got everything they wanted! I hope they fix the speakers though.. the delivery agent said he will email me about it.. cross fingers

Post some pics when you get a chance. Speaker fix should be no problem

Ughhhh..... still the same overpriced cars on CPO.... Yawn

How long did it take a delivery specialist to reach out to those that have purchased used cars recently? I ordered one Thursday morning, completed all the delivery, trade and payment information online the same day. Three days later, no contact. I sent an email Friday afternoon with no response, ha!

Picked up mine today from the Wednesday sale a couple weeks ago. Red LR RWD June 2018 build w/21 mi for $36,800. Very happy with the car's condition. Delivery advisor said they were trying to figure out what was wrong with the car for it to be sold at such a low price ;) Been doing a lot of reading, but still so many things to learn.

First thing I noticed was the availability of Summon on the app, which I tested when I got home. It appears I have EAP currently. My MVPA and account page state Autopilot.

I'm wondering if the EAP might revert back to normal AP once it does an update, or if I'm just lucky and I have EAP for life?

How was this swap possible?
Does it works with the lightning deals time rates?

The only way that would work (and the poster who posted it alluded to it) would be for one person to buy the car, and have someone else in the area where the car is pick it up. If you dont know that person, you would be letting a stranger pick up a car that you paid for, and trusting them. Then, arrange with that person to get the car somehpw.

3 days for me and apparently it’s “been in transit” the past week with no real updates.

Wow I was thinking they scrubbed the EAP off of all the used ones. Hopefully my 6/18 build still has it too.

On the topic of delivery fees ... I put deposit down on a "unicorn" or "stealth" or "sleeper" M3, which is a P3D- so 18s and none of the performance HW upgrades. I'm pumped. Get's me to the point.
Car is in Minneapolis and I'm in Colorado. The SA said he won't know the transpo fee etc until Tuesday when he calls the location where the car is.
I've read $2k maybe even $4k, but I'm going to go up there on the weekend on a $39 Frontier Flight, pick it up, drive it the 900 miles, use up my free SUC credits. I know 900 miles depreciates the car, but it is what it is to snag a unicorn.
I'm going to get the FSD upgrade and just let the car basically drive me home over a day and a half over the weekend. For those who say, "but that's $6k for FSD", I was going to get that anyway and even if I didn't, normal AP is awesome for highways.

Good luck to all! Unless you reserve 4 cars at one time only to return some later which Tesla in turn marks up, denying other EV enthusiasts a smokin' deal. Come man ... we are in civilized society here, aren't we? Make the world a BETTER place.

But is it his fault he doesn't know the location of the car? Tbh I would've done the same thing. It sucks I know but it's my money as well. If I knew the location of the car I think it'd be a different story..

I would think you'd just reserve the car you would intend to buy not horde them due to an unknown or excuse. But to each his own. Nothing illegal.
What's the end result? Some people who wanted one of those cars at a price point missed out. That's my point.

Lmao, I thought the whole point of Tesla being online ordering/order direct from Tesla was to not get "ripped off" and deal with negotiating at a dealership.

Knowing Tesla has the room to mark down cars 6-8k and knowing other people got that kind of deal it makes me feel like I'm getting ripped off for paying anything over 38k for a LR tesla.

Those were demo / return/ used cars (with low miles). Used cars dont get the tax rebate (used is a legal definition so its possible to have a new car with miles.. depends on if it was sold to a consumer). If thats what you want, then you need to keep looking out for them

Sounds like a good plan
I know another user tried that on used but Tesla insisted on charging them state tax where the car would be picked up (CA) not titled so they were basically forced into delivery on a used car. Yours is new so may be different situation and/or the different states involved make it work or not.
Either way randomly buying a used one with no idea where it is; is not the same thing.

Tesla pricing on used Model 3 cars varies greatly, which was their point. Some get a bargain price, the vast majority get pricing too high to make sense over new (especially if you factor rebates)

The tax credit is negligible in front of an $8000 discount.

Tesla rep at the local dealer keeps saying they can't sell me their demo with 500 miles, then I get told they may be able to towards end of the quarter by another one. Basically when you ask about it you get the run around.

If these deals are done end of quarter to boost sales to meet/exceed their target.... That's not any different than a dealership giving you a better deal at the end of the month to meet their sales goals.

Make sure not to go over 1500 miles when you register the car as Colorado will consider even untitled car as used if over 1500 miles. Being a used car would not qualify for Colorado nor Fed tax incentive

The 1500 mile limitation is based on the miles the car has when it was purchased, not when it is registered. If the car @vtvox buys hasn't been registered yet and has 1495 miles on it, he can still drive it 900 miles back to Colorado. He can still register it as new.
