So I've got walk away locking enabled on my Model 3 and I'm puzzled by it's behavior. When I come home, typically getting out of the car is a bit of a process. I get my stuff out of the front, usually retrieve a jacket from the rear seat, and then something from the trunk. When I shut the trunk and go to grab the charging cable, the car honks and locks.
Sometimes this results in the charge port not opening from the wand, and sometimes it does. I can easily unlock the back door if needed to plug in the charger, but still...
At all times, I'm within mere feet of the car. My garage is pretty tight with two cars in it. I'm never further away than being able to reach out and touch the car. Yet every time, the car locks.
Is this normal?
