Electricians are totally slammed in our area. We had a HPWC installed on the opposite side of our house with a run of 110’ of conduit and the addition of a sub-panel in the garage. Total cost was $2250. for all materials and labor. The HPWC was purchased separately. At a cost of $4000, there has to be something extra like a replacement main panel driving the price up. Perhaps the existing panel won’t support the load or ??
