You do not need to wax if you have a ceramic coating. But you do need to apply a ceramic boost spray every few weeks to maximize the effects and benefits of the ceramic coating. Applying the ceramic boost is very quick and easy.

I DIY mine in June 2019. So it’s due soon. I might just apply another coating when the time comes.

Interesting idea to use this on a car. I would be careful using it on a car with any PPF. Petroleum distillates can damage PPF. According to the Wkipedia post you shared:
"Renaissance Wax is based on more stable microcrystalline waxes refined from crude oil."
