Hoping someone from Tesla will read this (since I found it difficult to contact them via their website) and note that I would like to have Apple CarPlay or at a minimum, Waze available on my model Y. Please Tesla. Agree to provide your owners with the best technology available.

Tesla has been very clear from the beginning that they own the user interface. No carplay, no android auto.

I too missed CarPlay when I got my first Tesla. The simplest solution, and one I went with and works awesomely, is this:

It is a no brainer install, is nicely responsive and your steering wheel controls all still work with CarPlay. I’m not affiliated with the company in any way, and highly recommend this device. I use Waze all the time now, right on my Tesla screen.
