the front "grill" could have had merit if they were functional - i.e. maybe imrproved heat dissipation for the battery radiators, at a cost of range. would make sense in a place like hong kong where range's not an issue, and some people want more performance for their cars.

that would, of course, require a complete overhaul of the car's infrastructure to cater to that.

so this is a fake grill for less range, less aerodynamic flow, and no performance improvement. purely for looks. questionaly looks.
