Web Browser Problem

Went to YouTube.com on the web browser. Once on the site I opened a video and went to full screen mode. Now I cannot exit full screen and get back to the browser. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Tap the upper-right hand corner of the screen where the "X" would normally be. Sometimes it doesn't show up, but it should still work to close out of full-screen.

the "X" does appear in the upper right. I've tried that. When I use the X it closes the browser not just youtube. When I reopen the browser it opens up to full screen youtube again. I've tried everything I can think of to get off full screen mode including a reset. Nothing seems to work.

Yeah, the browser goes to the last visited site when you reopen it, and the youtube site will "redirect" to the installed Youtube app, much like what happens on a cell phone when you have a matching app installed. What you want is to change the "last visited site" in the browser. I don't remember how to do that but I believe this has happened to others before. I think if you search this site you'll find something that helps you.

I wasn't aware that you were able to open the browser and navigate to websites using voice commands.

Sometimes the lack of info provided by Tesla can be very frustration.

This just happened to me a few days ago.

I put the car in "D"rive. This disables watching videos on the big screen, and I was then able to enter a different URL.
