So I had this happen about 3 times in the past week (but I drive relatively little nowadays, need to do more of it!) and I wonder if anybody else experienced something like this?
It typically happened when I suddenly release accelerator pedal completely and the car enters max regen, initial speed is 30-40mph, once on a significant downslope once on level road and don't remember where was the third time.
Once the regen is in full force, it feels like whole lower dash in driver footwell (and possibly more) are ratling/shaking violently with pretty loud sound and sensible vibrations. tap brakes/accelerator and it stops and does not return.
Any ideas?
