What are the considerations for door panel repair reg. electronics?

I am considering two separate quotes for repairing a damaged right front door panel, and would like to solicit this group's feedback on significance of using the "Tesla Approved" body shop as it pertains to the ability of the body shop to properly restore the autopilot and other "Tesla specific" electronics.

My decision is between:

1. Tesla approved Body shop
   1. over 1 hour away
   2. $3000 for the repairs
   3. seems to appreciate that a Tesla will need stuff like the sonar's "tuned"
2. nearby body shop
   1. 5 minutes from my house
   2. $1800 for the repairs
   3. Recommended by friends, and competent with "aluminum" repairs on other high end brands, including other Teslas.
