Like many before, I've gone through a lot of vehicles since I got my drivers license in 1979. I've had a fun mix of exciting cars, utility vehicles and plain Jane models, but by far, and I mean very far.. the worst car I've ever had the misfortune of owning was the :
1975 Triumph TR-7
Thinking about that car, I honestly can't think of a system where some (usually expensive) part didn't get replaced. Yeah sure, it was and adventure to drive! ... the "adventure" part was never knowing if you'd make it home (pre-cell phone era) every time you left the house. That was the car that was single-handedly responsible for ending my love affair with British sports cars and any part with the name Lucas stamped on it.
When I moved out off my parents home in 1989, we sifted through a very large stack of photos to bring with me to my new house... any photos of the TR-7 ended up in the trash pile
