2013 Subaru Outback. Might have to stay with it, given that the rear seats are uncomfortable in the M3. Plus, no place for my 100 lbs dog.

Perhaps I need to seriously visit all the hybrids out there. I don't think the M3 SR AWD that I'm waiting for will cut it at $40K due to size and seating limitations. Anyway, I'll wait till Oct 1st before deciding to cancel. Too bad, since I was a line waiter at 10am in NY.

I’m driving an 08 VW Passat. I’m ready to let it go as soon as I’m able to configure the AWD M3.

I had bought a 2016 VW Golf R which I then gifted to my father. Other than that, I had a 2003 Toyota Corolla as my daily driver which I tend sold for 2.5x more than what I bought it for. (granted, that's about as much as I spent on repairs for it)

2007 Mercedes ML350: Liked the car a lot. Wasn't as unreliable as people think, minor issues. Hit 120,000 miles and got totaled by a hit-and-run drunk driver at 2am in San Fran's Mission District as I was returning from a day trip back in August 2016.

2004 BMW 645Ci convertible: fun car, drives very nicely BUT horribly unreliable. Transmission changed, multiple leaks, VANOS system broken (super expensive), engine spark plug issues. 15.1 mpg. This is my daily driver since 2016... I've been holding on to the money from the ML350 car accident to put it towards the Model 3.

May - July estimated delivery date... can't come any sooner.

ABSOLUTLEY NOT! the model 3 is the best car I've ever owned (or at least my favorite, we'll see about the best part after a few years!)
VW buyback is correct, turning in the car in 2 hours, I drove it a little while longer waiting for the model 3 arrival.

Corolla here. I haven't driven anything else.

Almost gave myself a heart attack on my first launch.

    10/10 would do it again.

I feel a person should buy a car at least every decade or two. :)

I'm sure that eventually I'll be able to simmer down with stomping on the go-pedal. Eventually....

PS. If anyone is in the market for a sweet 10 year old minivan, let me know! ;)

Since the Model 3 is replacing my wife's car, it will be her aging Prius.

Not quite, but I was spending approx. $300-400/mo. on gas with that beast. It has the 5.7L V8 Hemi -- so I'd average somewhere around 13-15 mpg. Talk about making a complete 180 and stepping into the future. No turning back!!
