I believe the Roadster can actually park in the bed of a Ford F-450 or maybe 550. I would love to see a picture of that. Kind of a version of a range extender.

I guess Roadster F24 is in town for a while... I noticed it charging at a semi-public EVSE in Redwood Shores today.
It has some sort of luggage rack on the back of the trunk lid.

First pic taken before show opened.

Photo below taken about half hour later. I put an info-sheet on the dash, full of factoids about running costs / performance / tax advantages etc. I was asked a million questions about it.

It was an unusual charity car show, with 200+ exotics and some serious hypercars, Group B rally cars and vintage. All privately owned and driven to the event. Nice historical mix !


Pity I wasn’t allowed to demo the Roadster. I only need about 70m to convert anyone to the Church of EV :wink:
