Can anyone tell me what this icon does? I thought it was to add a single song as a favorite, but when I go to favorites all that is there are stations.

if you are in Slacker, touching this icon will "teach" Slacker that this is the type of song you like, so as to "customize" your listening experience.

 

[Zextraterrestrial]

only adds song as a favorite for the specific station that you are on.

same as the 'do not play' icon, only bans the song from the specific 'channel' that you are on
