Just guessing but they have the 1086XXXXX and I see that is for some folks on March 3. I did it April 1 which is 1087XXXXX so I'm guessing they are doing it in 99,999 increments.

I also noticed that about an hour after my reservation was made, Musk was online saying they had reached 200,000. So the timing seemed to match that numbering system based on the stream of announcements on how many T3 reservations on the at first day, April 1.

Just a wild guess. A plug number to use in regard to discussion above on how the Federal Tax credit might play out.

Tesla faces tax credit puzzle
My reservation number is a little less than 1087xxxxx. Its less than 1080xxxxx. I was second in line at the Chicago Downtown Tesla Dealership.

Your chances for the $7,500 seem secure.

Dude! What do you have an acre of solar panels? You are cranking out a megawatt+ per month. I've got a SolarEdge system also but a small 8.13kWp system. My best day has been 41 kWh. I figured I'd have to double it to charge the T3.

My Model 3 budget = To infinity, and BEYOOOND! (It's the American way after all.)

I never have planned on paying the base price. If I can get what I want for no more than $55,000 out the door then I will be happy.
What would I expect with that price? Base wheels and tires, base sound system, base interior, metal roof, extended range approaching 300 miles, maybe air suspension and some autopilot. The last two are not deal breakers. If not, then I may put the $55,000 down on a Model S.
I also am not counting on any tax breaks, Federal or CA. If they are available, great!!
