When do the 2023 Vins start showing up

Update: Tesla received the check from the finance company around 10am today. Received charger coupon via email around noon. Don’t know if there’s a correlation but it would make sense.

I got the charger email after vin and I hadn’t done any finance stuff yet.

Finally received my VIN tonight. Model Y 2023. Austin build. OD: 1/28/22 EDD: 11/3-11/12. Delivery location: Los Angeles. MYLR / MSM / 5 / NoTow

Since you're in California, I'm surprised you're getting an Austin build instead of Freemont.

California is a hot market, GDP is as larage as a major country. A lot of companies divide markets as NorCal and SoCal nowadays.

Interesting. I thought the Los Angeles market is always fulfilled by Fremont? I'd be curious to know about the package shelf, headlights, and door panels.

How was the quality, fit/finish, delivery process? Any issues you found?

Quality check was great. No issues found. Took it out for a 60 mile drive. It drove beautifully. Suspension felt a little tighter than I remembered. Delivery was originally scheduled for this Weds. Received a text message Sunday asking for proof of payment/tracking info of the check from financing company. (The bank sent me a copy when I finalized loan docs). I also provided the down payment via app earlier that day as well. About a minute after sending info, I received a phone call asking if I wanted to take the delivery early…like in the next couple of hours. I said yes. An hour into my delivery window a guy showed up with my vehicle and another car followed him for his ride home. He walked me thru the app and helped me unlock my vehicle. After 15 mins of inspection, I accepted delivery, he handed me the key cards and said “congrats!” Pretty smooth. It had about 50% charge. Spent the night going thru the settings in my driveway after my drive and trickle charging @12amps.

I got a 2023 Model Y VIN today delivery for last week of this month. So far it informed me in the app the sonar sensors are replaced with tesla vision. not sure what that is yet

Did you get the cargo shelf? our 7 seater did not. not sure if it works with the third row config.
we have the new door cards, no matrix headlight, didn’t check for USS yet.

Received 2023 Model Y today, 11th November, build day October 27th (they tell me). Toronto, Canada It still has the sensors, will have to check if the cameras are upgraded or not. I am told it has the new suspension and double glazed windows.
