Only mentioning it because I have a spare that I bought month ago when I thought mine was lost after a trip.
So if this is what the OP is after, I'm offering to sell it.

For which you pay a 57% premium.Decided not to wait and try to hit the lottery on the Tesla adapter.
NEMA 14-50 Adapter for Tesla Model S/X/3 Gen 2 – EVSE Adapters
And another $9 for shipping...For which you pay a 57% premium.

People can ASK whatever price they want - selling it something else. If you search for SOLD adaptors, other than one that sold for $99.99 + $11.60 shipping (and whoever bought it was a fool) and a few at $70, one can easily be had for $50-$55. Certainly more than the $35 you can get it for from Tesla. At least it isn’t $130 on eBay.
Why are these things so hard to keep in stock? They don’t look particularly complicated to build.
My experience with buying a 14-30 showed me that that department is about as sharp as soup in a sock.
Then why are they rated at 30 amps (read the label!) when they are meant to be used at 32 amps continuous? Why are these things so hard to keep in stock? They don’t look particularly complicated to build.
I have done the email notification on the 14-50 and have *NOT* received an email. I had returned a wall charger and replaced it with the mobile charger and a 14-50. They let me know that the 14-50 was out of stock and they would send it as soon as it came back into stock. Well I still have NOT received an email, but on Friday I received a 14-50, so some must have come in.
Interesting.
Has anyone ever received an email notification that something is back in stock?
