To be realistic and practical, I reckon one on Hong Kong Island East, somewhere Heng Fa Chuen or Chai Wan would be nice as there are sufficient area to build.

Not exactly near where I live, but close enough.

What about you? Where do you think is practical / convenient for you?

Assuming they are not to be used for long-distance (China) travel, but weekend quick charging, then shopping centers. Somewhere you would go for an hour or two. Somewhere that would support the installation in order to attract traffic. IFC, Ocean Centre, Pacific Place, sort of places.

Yea all the big name malls. Science Park and Cyberport too for the sake of showcasing green-ness and high tech-ness.

Agree, but most supercharging stations in US and Europe are at free open areas, admission without charge. For shopping malls, it is like I must pay for parking before I get free recharging. Not ideal.

Where are the CHAdeMO in Hong Kong? One at Stanley Plaza. Another at HK Electric building. Another at Science Park.

Free parking places would be interesting, but limited in number.

Outside Star Ferry Carpark at 9 Edinburgh Place is a huge area with very few cars around. That would make a decent place for superchargers.

I remember that Tesla already have some sort of charging points at the airport. Not sure how fast those chargers are though. It is probably easier to replace them with superchargers, but that will mean I am going to be very far away from them.

There is a 70A roadster HPC at the back of the hotel near the expo centre. Also a bunch of charging points in car park 4.

    Supercharger Locations Suggestion

Tesla, please listen. Suggest following locations at public carparks:

    - IFC
    - New Town Plaza
    - Ocean Center

    Any other suggestions?

I don't suppose cooperation with gas station would be possible but setting up superchargers like gas station seems doable. Maybe purchase old gas stations.

Government will not give free land for one EV brand. For Tesla to get their own land is financially not feasible. Only option are malls in my opinion.

I think the govt will make a deal to put them in public car parks, in door and outdoor, to promote green vehicles.
