Whiplash protection

Hi all,

Since the middle headrest in the second row seems to be lower than it was previously, are they still high enough to provide protection during a rear-end crash? Before the headrests in the second row were all the same height..

Anyone has experience with this? As I carry 5 adults regularly this concerns me.

The 2nd-row middle seat of the new 5/7 seater X is fairly small, and typically you would put the smallest/shortest person there, so hopefully the headrest would be fine at that level. It's nice for the driver to have the headrest lower for visibility out of the rear window. In the original 7-seater, the middle headrest blocked most of the view.

If you somehow manage to place a full-grown dutch person in the middle seat (I would love to see that, please send a photo), then the headrest would definitely not be sufficient to prevent whiplash from a rear-end collision.
