BTW, the website order page for these features now shows the upgrade prices cited in the blog entry: $2,000 for AP; $3,000 for FSD.

Would recommend not buying anything right now. The situation is evolving. There could be more price cuts on autopilot.

Not sure if we will see the whole package go much below 5K.... watch me be more wrong though.

Ahah, I paid $8000 for EAP+FSD in 2018. it turned out that I only overpaid by around $2500 instead of the originally thought $5500. If Elon can honor $1000 kickback I’ll be content. Besides the early access program seems really cool and invaluable. I encourage everyone to think in the positive light.

I'm curious about the $1k refund, mostly because the 2018 version of FSD as described should be able to conduct short and long distance trips without any action required by the driver, while the current version makes relatively narrow claims.

If taking the $1k refund also changes what "version" of FSD I'm getting, I think I'll wait for Tesla to deliver what was described in the 2018 version or refund the whole $3k.
