Why is this icon flashing on and off?

Hi all

I have noticed over the past few days the nav volume icon keeps coming on and odd whilst I’m not using the nav? Never noticed the icon when I have used nav and I was stationary when I first noticed it.

Is your car making the warning chimes for an object? I think it's the mute button to silence the chimes as you seem to be in the "park assist" view in the photo and it's detected something on front right.

Yes it’s the mute button for all the parking bongs

I was sat at some traffic lights the first time i spotted it but no bongs going off, and then noticed it whilst driving once as well. I'll chek it out and let you know.

I think your right - it looks like it pops up anytime the beeps are going off...

My drivers door is frozen and the car doesn’t recognise it’s closed this morning and is beeping constantly until I pressed the speaker icon.

No software update available to me yet, but don’t really want it like you say?

In the picture you sent you have a seatbelt warning going off for the driver's seat which also causes the icon to appear to allow you to shut off the alarm.
