No. Use 6/3 THHN wire for the 48 amp "Wall Connector". I drew separate THHN wires and used 6awg for the hots and 8awg for the gnd.

You mean “#6” or perhaps “6 AWG”, not 6/3, which is a designation for bundled conductors like NM-B (Romex).

Yup, I think you're correct. Its been almost two years and probably why I drew single wires.

“6/3” is a designation for “6 gauge wires, three separate conductors” in a bundle.

Technically if using Romex you’d only need 6/2, as the wall connector doesn’t use the third conductor (neutral). Just two hots and a ground.
