'Pinching' Tesla car windows can be app-controlled again as Close on Lock option returns

Tesla has resolved the 'pinching' windows NHTSA recall issue with a software update and some of the solutions are now activated on the server side. The Close Windows on Lock function as well as the Vent and Close options in the Tesla app are again active to allow control of your windows remotely.

I've always had these controls on my Feb 2022 MSLR. They never went away.

Your car was broken then. Tesla can't do anything correctly.

My March 2022 MSLR never lost it either, that I know of. I used it yesterday. I’d be really bummed if I lost that feature.

I can enable Close Windows on Lock but it only works once and then is reverts back to gray and not blue on the button.

Appeared today on my app. It opens all the window's about an inch or two.

It appeared only 2020 as well, with a warning that you can't close them, just open.

I can both close and open however they only open about and inch or two.

I think we're getting confused here folks. Close windows on lock means when you walk away the car locks and no matter how open the windows close totally.
What I have now is I swipe it on, it works once and it turns itself off and does not work after that

In that case all your can do is vent the 4 windows down about 2-3 inches or close them all

To clarify is this for mcu2 cars only or will this work for mcu1? Is there a year cutoff
