Not the most convincing argument if I am honest?

When I had a crack I had a choice.
Either
a) pay £100 insurance excess and get Autoglass to do it 5 miles away
or
b) pay £1000+ to get Tesla to do it 40 miles away and they may well have subcontracted it to Autoglass anyway

I went with option a. Can you elaborate on why that was the wrong choice?

My experience in USA is that the chain glass installers here, aka Safelite, are terrible

The windscreen has been replaced now by Autoglass. It’s labelled up in the bottom corner as Tesla and looks identical to what it replaced including the part number. I’m impressed with the work.

Fair enough. I have no knowledge of windscreen replacement services in the US so i cannot really comment on that.....
