Update: I faxes invoice for windshield. Two business days later, State Farm transfered $670 into my bank account. This is the $1170 cost to repair windshield, minus my $500 deductable.

FWIW you might wanna ask what a $0 deductible on comprehensive/glass will cost you... it raised my premiums like $8 a year, but avoids $500 bills often enough to be more than worth it.
