Wrong home address - sentry mode

Hello!

Just got my Model 3. I set my home address which is 36 Road name.

When I park at home, in the app, the car shows it's parked on 42 Road name. Same road, but says it's on 42. This is because my parking space is a bit to the side of my house.

I have Sentry mode disabled at home.

Since the car is showing that it's at 42, does this mean that Sentry mode is actually enabled when my car is parked at home?

You can tell easily. Wave a hand in front of any of the cameras while parked at your home. If you get a flash and a video clip of your hand, you know sentry was enabled.

Just open the app. If you see sentry mode icon it turned on.

Seems like it's recognizing as home still! Sentry is off, nice.

So you guys have the camera sentry option on? By default comes off and just uses the sensors I think to turn on sentry mode

Sentry home is x hundred metres around your home address. The figure is published somewhere but remember thinking it’s quite a distance

I've never heard of 'camera sentry' option. On newer Teslas, there are no other sensors(they apparently did away with radar and ultrasonics)

Stacy's Mom is still running relatively old software. I haven't gotten around to updating the Ghost module yet, so I'm putting off 2023.12.10
