I am getting ready to lock-in the configuration of my X. What is the over/under on delivery on May 15th (this year.) Pretty sure I know which I'd bet on.

I configured who knows when ago, have a delivery specialist and we both put the over under on May 15.
I will give you this. First, reservation date has gotten to be meaningless. Second, you are a heck of a lot closer to the factory and likely to even take factory delivery. Still, the over on that is an easy bet!
I'd say well under 10%. I reserved two years ago (might not matter now) ordered 90D in Dec and they are estimating June/July. Not sure that estimate is worth putting a lot of stock in either, but if I were you I sure wouldn't have my heart set on May.

Not a chance I would take this as an under bet. There has not yet been any VIN assigned to any 90D order. There is no way on this earth that a non-sig, non-P order for a 90D will see the light of day ahead of 25,000 other cars before May 15. Take a look at production ramp estimates. No deal for any bet but over. Rots of Ruck for a 2016 delivery at all at this point if just jumping on the bandwagon.

X90D confirmed 2015/12/5 here - I'm hoping for a mid/late June delivery.
For a 2016/2/17 order, I'm guessing Oct (but hope for all our sakes it's earlier)

Everyone at the Meet the Model X event yesterday in Costa Mesa said nothing until mid/Late summer on 90D's and then most likely end of year/first of next year on 70's

It all depends which options you choose. Some option move you ahead and some options put you at the end.
Well, it looks like the "Under" is going to win. TM is telling me 3/31, and I'm planning picking it up late April. Yes!!
