Neither the buyer nor seller would be eligible for state and federal Tax Credit and both would have to pay sales tax. In CA this would mean buyer and seller would each pay 9.25%. This would all have to be considered if you are trying to flip. This would mean you would have to ask for $25k over...

Any method that circumvents your states tax laws would most likely be tax fraud. If you plan to commit tax fraud is probably best you not post your plans here. If you think it is wrong it probably is wrong. A prime example is titling the car in two names then removing one name at a later date.
Tesla has recently moved to the bundling of options for the Model S and Model X. Therefore it is likely this will be the method which will be used on the Model 3. It does not look they will have individual options.
At home on 100 amp circuit which would be equal to a destination charger I get about 48 miles per hour of charge to a 90% charge. On a supercharge I average (to a 90% charge) about 250 miles per hour of charge but it had gone as high as 154 miles per half hour of charge.
This is on a MX P100DL...
Elon indicated on last weeks call that Tesla will not be subsidizing leasing of the Model 3. Subsidizing has become the norm for most manufactures to offset the cost of the lease.
Therefore this is one reason why leasing may not be making financial sense for most getting a Tesla Model 3...
Back to the subject, it is very doubtful that they will be changing the charging port. If they were they would be putting them in at the new Superchargers they are currently building. They will just continue to make adapters for non-Tesla chargers. Problem solved. .
After reading all the posts in this thread the biggest problem I see is people still can't get past the point that a Model 3 isn't going to be a hatchback. At this point it's too late to quote statistics about whether hatchbacks are preferred more over a hatchback. It doesn't matter, it is now...
Elon has said there will be less options on the Model 3. But most of you are saying almost every option will be included. Like heated seats, why would people in FL need heated seats has to be an option probably as part of cold weather package. Cooled seats aren't even offered on Model S/X so we...
Life is a balance. This is the first person I have read about who does 100% of their charging via either SuperChargers or CHAdeMO. In the years I have been a member of this forum I have been made aware it was not good to fast charge too frequentlly as it is not good for the battery. Just like...
They normally install all of this at delivery when you do your walk through. There should also be a charger kit for the phone. I had a licence plate holder in the frunk since we don't use a front license plate in this state. There was also a chrome rear plate, trailer towing kit, window shade...
I am hoping this just means that they will use technology to get more out of current batteries. Faster charging and more miles. I think 350 miles will probably be pushing it for all models.
I ordered my P100D on December 22nd and got the normal confirmation 7 days later on December 29, 2016. I received a call saying my car should be going into production second week of February and I should receive the car the first or second week of March. This is exactly one year after I took...
We have a six seat Model X P90DL which we have had for a year and a six seat Model X P100DL on order and delivery is scheduled for early March. The 7 seater is too crowded. We love the 6 seater.
Yes $1 per mile. In addition I have to eat any increase in price. I went from a fully loaded P90DL (which is no longer available ) to a fully loaded P100DL and it is going to cost me around $25k.
I was guarantee by the Regional Service Manager in writing that I would have free Supercharger miles for life. It happens it is being delivered in Early March. I believe the cutoff was suppose to be April 1. I never heard this date changed.
I ordered my Model X P100D on December 22 and it was confirmed on December 30. A few days later "My Tesla" was updated with my VIN, 35XXX. I received an email last Friday saying my car is expected to go into manufacturing next week and should be delivered the first week of March. Almost exactly...
I also got a lemon. They have agreed to take the car back. I waited ten months but I wish I had started the process several months earlier. It took five months for then to agree to take the car back.
There is no negation on a new car. There are plenty of older new cars with AP1 hardware rather than AP2 which they are trying to get rid of which go for a lower price.
Everything is relative. I would not consider the cost outrageous considering what you paid for the car. I have owned other luxury cars and could never get out of the service department after annual maintenance for less than $1,000
I have had a six seater Model X P90D for a year and love it. When we go on trips we put the cooler in the middle and can easily reach it from the front. We have two dogs who sit with their seat belt in the two second row seats. On the rare occasion when we have had six people everyone was...
It was the same way with the Model X during the three year delay. Tesla is not one for publishing updates as to status of products or features. You get more from Elon's occasional tweets which at times are cryptic.
I had similar problem but worse. My car was one of the first cars off production. In first ten months it was in SC 8 times for a total of 177 days. They have agreed to pay be back everything I paid but I have to pay a per mike fee for all miles on car. My new car is scheduled to arrive in March...
When I took delivery of My X last February the hatch was slightly cocked. They agreed to replace the hatch but said they will need my car for 6-8 weeks and it would take several months to get the parts. In the meantime a lot of other problems developed at which point they agreed to replace the car.
If you even thing you want the larger battery do it before it goes to manufacturing. It is prohibitatively costly after you get or. To go from a P90DL to a P100DL is over $20k. They even charge a large fee for the trade in of the battery.
