Xmas Easter Egg

Has anyone tried out the Xmas Easter Egg recently? My nephew thinks it's super cool and loves for me to show people (Christmas in July?). I tried it out last night and it doesn't work. I had just done it a couple months ago, so I am wondering if the latest update broke the Easter egg.

From what Elon has said, it's a permanent feature, especially since it's in the drawer. One thing I've seen noted is that the car can't be near 'things' (walls, cars, etc.).

Sure your car is in the open sufficiently?

Definitely out in the open with no one standing too close.

It turns the radio up really high and the screen goes black but otherwise seems completely unresponsive to me locking the doors (which is supposed to start the show).

I've reset the interface a couple times to see if that helps but no dice.

Yeah, that was my next idea, reboot. Hm....

Yes the software update to 24.1 broke the egg. No idea when (or if) it get fixed.

Same for me. Tried it on the 4th...it displayed the message on the screen but wouldn’t start the show from the “lock” command on the key fob. The mirrors wouldn’t fold to lock the car.

Good to get confirmation of that. Is Tesla aware so we can be sure they correct this? Never know who tells them what!

The QA list for releases must be a mile long now...

I have tried it on two separate occasions since the 24.1 update. Worked fine each time.

It's been discussed on the 26 thread. I confirmed it was broke on 21.9 then fixed on 26
