Un-Pairing a Previously Paired Wall Connector

I used to have 2 Gen 3 wall connectors set up for power sharing. I then moved one of them (the one that was set up as a "follower") to a different location. Now I cannot get it to exit power sharing mode. I turned off power sharing on the wall connector that was set up as the "master" but that hasnt translated to the "follower." I assume this is because they are now on seperate wifi networks. Is there anyway to stop power sharing on the "follower" device? Without that, it is limiting me to 24A max charging.

Should I order the chargers separate from the car?

So I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on the 2024 M3. But I heard that when you order and get the chargers in the same order, then they will come with your car. But I'd really like to get the charger installed ahead of time. So should I make two orders - one for the car and one for the charger - and then I can get the charger earlier on? Or is that not going to work out that way.

Tiny paint scratch on my new model Y- can Tesla help with repair?

Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a Tesla from Tesla dealership about 17days ago, and I have been thoroughly enjoying the experience thus far. However, I must admit that while opening the trunk, I accidentally caused a tiny paint scratch on my Tesla. I'm really keen on keeping my Tesla in top-notch condition, so I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and reached out to Tesla for a quick paint repair?
If you have any insights or advice on how to handle this situation, I'd love to hear from you! Your input would be immensely helpful.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

FSD 12 and tow hitch bike rack

Just a quick question - Have you tried FSD v12 with a rear bike rack that blocks the rear camera?

I'm debating between getting a roof rack or a tow hitch, and while I know that a tow hitch bike rack or cargo box is more efficient, I also want to factor in whether a tow hitch bike rack will degrade FSD performance.

I've seen posts with people having V11 working, but curious if anyone tried it with V12 and would recommend for or against a tow hitch bike rack while running FSD V12.

Thanks for your time!

New M3 owner and wall connector issue..anyone seen this before

Hello all,
I recently bought my first Tesla and am delighted with it. Model three RWD.
I also bought a gen 3 wall connector which I have had installed by an MD licenced electrician. As part of this I had a permit pulled and today it failed inspection.
I have an older house with aluminium wiring and a 50A breaker. The reason given for failing the inspection was that the wall connector was direct connected to the 50 amp circuit (properly) and configured in the firmware to only charge at the de-rated 40 A (properly) but still had a sticky label on the side of the wall charger which said, among other things
Input: 200-240 ~48A 50/60Hz 1 phase and ,
Output: 200-240 ~48A 50/60Hz 1 phase.

The inspector said he would clear it if the sticker was replaced by one which said 40A. I should just get one from Tesla, he said. Other third party suppliers enclose a set of such "de-rating' stickers in their boxes apparently. OK, I thought....no big deal....except I could find any of these stickers in the Tesla box in which the wall connector arrived and I cant find anyone to ask and without a part number of this new sticker even the service department can't help.

So it seems that there is no discussion about whether the installation was done right (it was), or that the equipment is not up to code (it is), but just a matter of announcing, presumably, to the next house owner that it is derated to 40A on purpose.

As a relative newbie Tesla owner I feel that there should probably be a solution for this. Maybe a remote service event by Tesla which could set something in the firmware to trigger the issue of a new sticker arriving by mail.

So the question is whether anyone has confronted this and found a solution/workaround.
Thanks in advance.

Gloss or Matte Rear and Lip Spoilers on Midnight Silver Metallic

Hi, new member here.

I'm trying to give a fresher look to my 2020 Model S LR. getting gloss chrome delete soon, and trying to decide between matte and gloss rear spoiler, possibly front too.

Do you have any pictures of midnight silver metallic with gloss or matte spoiler to help me decide?

I been reading about delamination in carbon fiber, does this affect both matte and gloss? or is either of them better to avoid delamination?

Looks like many go with RPM, any other brand you would recommend I should consider?

Tanks in advance.

Used Model X 2018 new purchase, frunk won't open

Love my new vehicle. It has been great. Was able to open it at the dealership and a few times after I purchased it, no problems. I went to a family gathering to show it off. Pressed the frunk button but it did not open. Tried it on the touch screen and it didn't open. I hear some mechanism trying to activate but nothing happens. The frunk appears yellow as if it is open on the screen but it remains closed in real life. Tried to search youtube on how to open it manually but I could not find the hole with the two little rope things to pull. Thanks for any advice.

Possible to trigger dashcam recording remote (like from app or API)?

hi, anyone knows if it's possible to trigger an autosave of the camera's (saved clips) but remote?
Inside the car on the touch panel this is possible, save clips, or press honk, or press scroll wheel if configured but remote I haven't found any way. In the app you can turn sentry mode on, but this won't record owner is close by, or the 10 minutes or so after closing the car.

I haven't tried yet if honking from inside the app would also trigger saving the clips but there surely must be a more elegant way to do that.
Inside Home Automation, I have access to 55 sensors/entries but none of them is saving clips.

Speakers SR+ ; Additional subwoofer

Hi,

I just bought a secondhand Tesla Model 3 SR+ Build past 03/2020(so I have rear speakers). But 6 speakers aren’t active unfortunately.. Just like the footwell lights.
I’ve seen some videos of people installing a new wiring set with & without the back speakers or subwoofer.

My question: what wiring set do I need with the back speakers?
I see some advertised with only the 4 front speakers.
I saw some for the brand Hansshow but are the rear speakers defined as surround speakers?

With that, I also have a older subwoofer(Pioneer TS-WX140DA) Its a under seat active sub. Is it possible to wire this aswell? Or is it gonna need too much amps?

I hope someone can help me from their past experience!
