Yes - there are several of those charging points around London. They have a standard UK domestic socket (13 Amps).
The lead in the picture is one of Tesla's prototype mobile chargers. It's the same as we have seen many times before (the box is hidden under the car in the gutter) with one of our 13A plugs on the end. I've seen them at many of the events I was at last year.

Maybe Tesla Motors should trademark it; they can use it for for their downscale brand name (e.g. Toyota -> Scion). :tongue:
It is a Tesla. It's common for people to refer to a car with only its brand or manufacturer (or a diminutive there of). Not until they offer another model does it matter to be more specific.
Yeah, there are a lot more hardtops showing up in Menlo Park these days. Hopefully whatever issue there is, is being sorted out.
