Wrong Home Address giving DashCam Problems

Thank you to those who have tried to help. I'm pretty sure that your can only designate an address as "Home", not a pin on the map. When I found the name the map gave to where I live it gave the nearest public road (which is quite near as the crow flies, but a long way away by car). So that was...

Wrong Home Address giving DashCam Problems

When I put my home address into my Tesla it located my house a few hundred metres from where it actually is. This means that when it is parked at home it does not register that it is home. So although the DashCam is set not to record when home, it does, all the time, whenever I or a neighbour...

Model 3 is getting pedestrian warning noises (AVAS)?

If you could choose your engine noise, what would you select? Sports car? New (eg Ferrari) or old (eg 3 litre Bentley)? Realistic modern car or an old banger? Would you want a steady noisy, or one with gear shifts as your speed increases or decreases? Endless possibilities!

Model 3 is getting pedestrian warning noises (AVAS)?

My Model 3 is an August car, so does not have it. I imagine that very soon Tesla will allow those who do have this noise device to choose their own vehicle noise. That could be interesting!

    White on white

I have white on white. It looks splendid. I don't believe there is any problem keeping it clean.

    Very Satisfied Customer

My Model 3, collected just over a week ago, was very nearly perfect, although I tried hard to find faults with it! Driving it is awesome. I hope the Superchargers don't get much faster - there is only just time to have a cup of coffee before being summoned back to the car. Did you see that the...

    BMW F80 M3 v Model 3 Performance--From Someone that Owns Both

With my arthritic knees I also suffered from some pain in the Tesla 3, but raising the seat greatly alleviated the problem so that it is now no worse, and perhaps better, in than in my previous cars.

Green Number Plates for Zero Emission Vehicles

Don't know - but it's an excellent idea.

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Expected delivery 10-17 September - Actually delivered yesterday 27th August. Big surprise. Beautiful car (LR AWD White + White premium interior, FSD). The only problem is that I don't yet have a charger as it was ordered for my expected delivery dates period!

    Delivery in Heathrow today

After the original estimate of a July delivery I was then told 10-17 September. Then a few days ago I was told 27 August - so collecting tomorrow. Arranging payment and insurance in five days including a weekend and a Bank Holiday has not been easy. So some of you with September or October dates...

    The 19" Curse

It's not just 19" wheels. Mine is 18" with LR AWD, registered 2 Apr 2016, ordered 1 May 2019, with a "suggested" delivery mid-September. No VIN yet.

    Best home charger

OLEV grant - I have been told (by an installer) that OLEV grants are not available for connectors supplied by EV manufacturers. I don't know whether tht is true. I like the look of the Tesla connector but don't know whether it can be used to charge non-Tesla cars, I have been told that it can...

    Can anyone confirm/deny this?

There have been many articles reporting on tests of the Model 3, almost all based on far more than 40 miles, and they all suggest much longer ranges than the What Car? review. I'm not worried at all! The way most of us drive we will find ranges not far short of the WLTP figures in summer...

    Second thoughts on FSD

I agree that no one would buy FSD for what it can do now (which is almost nothing). I believe that in two or three years it will have reached Level 3, and that would certainly be worth it for me. We are yet to see the undoubted benefits of what HW3.0 can achieve. If in 2 or 3 years the price has...
