    CCS Adapter - ?

That makes no sense. If you are charging to the same target percentage, it will always take less time arriving at a higher SOC than a lower SOC. If you are charging from 70% to 80% it may be slow, but if you arrive at 50% you still need to do the 70% to 80% range at the same slow speed. It...

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

We got pick up dates yesterday, but after we paid for the car it switched online to give an option to have it delivered (it would have taken about 40 minutes to drive to the pick up spot), so my wife's car is being delivered to our house on Monday between 4-8pm.

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

My wife just got a VIN. OD 7/15 for a red MYLR all basic with towbar. The dates bounced all around October and November. Recently it was like October 25th-Feb 10th or something, and then on 10/15 it became 10/17 - 10/29. Yesterday it was 10/20 - 10/29 and today she got a VIN and a date of...

Delivery times of Tesla Model-Y (June-July orders)

I don't think I've seen any confirmation that what the SA tells you actually comes to pass, people just like hearing it. Just because they have a specific date on their screen doesn't mean that it doesn't dance about just a wildly as the date range you see. This is my third time buying a Tesla...

Towed with 20 MYP today = abysmal

I don't know. I've always associated trucks and large SUVs with towing, not CUVs like the Model Y. We put a tow hitch on our Honda CRV to attach a bike rack, like most people ;-) But definitely EVs aren't great for long range towing.

Towed with 20 MYP today = abysmal

You act like these are the only 2 options. The vast majority of drivers have never towed anything in their lives. That doesn't mean that Tesla's don't make great non-towing vacation vehicles.

Using Existing Nema 14-50 Power Outlet to charge Model 3 Performance

I'm somebody who has been using the included connector as their primary charging solution in the garage for the last 8 1/2 years. I've never missed having a wall charger. I do unplug the UMC and put it in the car for longer road trips (not weekend trips).

Ugh. 36 minutes to charge 110mi at a Supercharger (1.5 hours including drive of 24 miles roundtrip)

The fuzzy logic I use is to put it in the Nav and see what % I'll have left when I get to the destination. And then when driving see whether that percent goes up or down. All I ever think about is time and % charge. I never even check how many miles I'm going to be driving just the % charge...

I am selling my Model Y SR I just bought in February, maybe you should too??

But there was no information. Misleading or exaggerated, no. Really, really annoying yes. I'm not going to watch a video to see if I'm interested in watching a video, despite a post title telling me that it's going to be really great. I was annoyed that I wasted time clicking on the thread...

MYLR first road trip - 900 miles in California - notes and findings

    > This is an amazing, beautiful piece of technology, but probably not a road trip car. It depends on what you mean by road trips. I don't consider LA-SF a road trip, it's a get there quickly by car trip (and I'd generally fly, I haven't done that drive for decades). For what I consider a true...

Why did Tesla remove option to disable regenerative braking?

I don't mind options, as long as they don't take away the perfect current implementation for people that like driving. I find it the best and smoothest driving experience of any car. I don't want blended braking anywhere near my car.

    Supercharger - Sonoma, CA (LIVE 16 Oct 2021, 8 V3 stalls)

Great. Now we just need Mariposa and all the gateways into the Sierra ski areas will be covered. It will make winter trips with ski racks much more comfortable.

    More Y Competition

The problem with that for me is that I want an SUV as the road trip car. For a daily commuter I don't want an SUV, I want a sports sedan like the Model 3. But most of the competition seems to be SUVs, which I think aren't that useful without the supercharging network.

Front License Plate for Model Y

But assuming you're asking about the normal method, I imagine it's the same as the 3, where the included bracket is attached with double sided tape.
