Autopilot Lane Change to the Left - Not

I had a similar problem since 2019.20.4.2. It happens when I make a right turn onto a local road with 2 lanes in each direction. AP sees only 1 lane and no longer recognizes the left lane until I change lanes manually on that road. It works after that. Please check if your car sees multiple...

Car not going to sleep + excessive vampire drain while connected to wifi

Yes. I also had the same issue with 2019.8.4 and now 2019.8.5. Thanks for posting the workaround.

    2016 Model S - no sentry update

I'm in the same boat but does anyone know if the upgrade to the FSD hardware (AP 3.0) will enable these features?

    FSD reduced to $2000

    Thanks. Didn't realize.

    FSD reduced to $2000

Just noticed it on my 2016 Model S account page. I'm thinking of getting it, mostly to upgrade the chip from 2.0 to 3.0. Anyone else?

    Free supercharging is currently enabled

Mine says Free Supercharging until May 29, 2019. I guess they added 3 months free. I purchased on 12/14/18 without a referral code (my error).

Did we pay more for tax incentive in 2018

The car that cost you $60000 - $7500 = $52500 then now costs $52000 - $3750 = $48250, a difference of $4250 less now. However the difference really depends on how you value EAP. In order to get the same feature set you need to include FSD which would bring the new cost to $57000 - $3750 =...

    A used 2016 and above Model S or a new Model 3

The M3 is a better buy than the 2016 MS in my opinion. If you intend to use EAP, the 3 has a faster chip and EAP performs better. Also, it appears that the 3 is ready for supercharger V3 and May get a speed bump soon. We might get more details this week. However, if those two aspects were...

    Newbie confusion

I took delivery in December and there were no issues with my car. If you need more time to inspect the car you should discuss it with the delivery specialist. Keep in mind that most of the complaints were related to software and not blemishes. However, any blemishes will be fixed for free...

The new fantasy sales framework will fail

I do consider myself to be a typical car buyer. Like most buyers, I always took a test drive mainly because it was part of the buying process. I think most buyers have already made up their minds about a car and take the test drive as a formality. They don't need to drive a car to know they...

The new fantasy sales framework will fail

You certainly have the right to your opinion but I mostly disagree with your assessment. I took delivery of my wife's Model 3 in December and the changes Tesla is making would have had no affect on my purchase experience. I did not test drive the car and the ordering, loan and trade-in were...

    Should We Be Concerned?

I have no concern about this move and I can understand why Tesla did it. However, store closures in any industry usually signals trouble for the company so I understand why some are concerned. I believe this is a good move for Tesla and I expect other startups to follow the same sales model.

SPINOFF: Did you test drive a Tesla before buying yours?

Yes for the S. No for the 3. While considering the S, I had never seen a Tesla up close so a test drive seemed necessary since the car was so different. After that, a test drive of any future Teslas seemed unnecessary.

“Standard Range” = 75D? Is a range upgrade coming?

Put another way, the RWD Model 3 range was software-limited to 310 mi. That limit is being removed.

M3 is already EV sales leader in Spain

Thanks for the update. That's good to hear.
