You can check in service mode if the car is seeing the button press. Model S wasn’t picking up the mobile connector but it would with the wall connector. Mobile service came by and I explained the troubleshooting I did and they swapped the mobile connector due to an internal fault. Btw it’s a 1...
I’ve had sentry mode off the past few days and it does seem like the car takes longer to wake up from sleep. I’ve had sentry mode on for like a year straight though so take it with a grain of salt.
Interesting. I have the same problem as you but it didn’t get bad until recently and I’ve been on 16.3 for a while. I had mobile service scheduled for the 30th but Tesla rescheduled me to a service center on 8/10. I’ve learned that regen is not lost when autopilot is active but as soon as you...
Experiencing this as well on a 06/22 m3p for a couple of weeks now and it keeps getting worse. Just got back from an hour commute with the mcu freezing and restarting constantly with regen going in and out and the same song restarting :/ software is also stuck on 16.3. 20.6 downloaded twice but...
I’m selling my 2020 Model 3 LR AWD with enhanced autopilot and a lot of MPP parts. It has 40k miles on it. Nothings wrong with it I just need a bigger car probably a model x.

Oh okay yeah that’s the range I meant as well. I’m assuming you have the Aeros. The stock tires are the most efficient ones but they aren’t that good in the wet. A lot of people are going with the crossclimates since it’s a good tire in all categories but you will lose some range compared to stock.
What size rims? How did you like the stock tires were there any specific likes/dislikes? Would you be willing to give up some range or would that be a dealbreaker?
I’ve noticed tire pressure makes more of a difference to road noise than the tire. Also make sure your toe isn’t too out of spec that can make a big difference in road noise as well.
It won’t stick out too much most people run +35 and range doesn’t take that much of a hit but the wheels will be pretty tucked in so if you want a more aggressive look do a lower offset
Yeah that’s what I’m suspecting. I’ve changed to coilovers and the creaking is coming back. My cars going to be in the shop soon again for some mods I’ll have them take a look at it.
I had the same issue and it was because the drivers seat weight sensor wasn’t detecting anything. I also had an issue where when moving my car in the garage without my seatbelt it would keep forcing the car into park. Tesla replaced my seat and both these issues have been fixed. There was an...
For anyone saying weight I had a 2020 S5 loaner which weighs around the same as the model 3 and we have a 2020 x5 and a 2019 s560 which both weigh more and they have far better braking feel.
I’ve since had my seat replaced for another issue but a while back when I was getting out of my car I heard a pop and looked back and the plastic panel on the left with the seat controls had popped off along with some foam flakes on the carpet. I had mobile service check it out and he replaced...
I have the mpp brace, mpp track front pads, and with ss lines and upgraded fluid. I feel better initial bite but you still have to put a lot of pressure on the pedal to get decent braking force.
i have the gap on the quarter panel and the SC and mobile service said thats how its supposed to be even though the other side is fine. i got tired of trying to convince them
really? thats interesting it seems quieter on most roads to me but the roads in bad condition sound the same. debating whether i should add mlv but i dont want to add any more weight
Quick question what rear pads should I get that would be a good combo for the mpp track pads I have in the front? Mostly street driving on twisty roads but I want it to be usable on the track as well. Seen a lot of options people use and don’t know what to go with.
Also unplugged said they’re going to replace my springs with their new gen 4 springs that should be here in a few weeks. I thought they had finally figured out the noises but guess not :(
So I’m having creaking noises while turning at low speeds or when stopped and I also got the unplugged moderate springs installed last month the creaking started the same week. I was doing some sound deadening in the front wheels wells and was wondering if this was a torn bushing?
So I had to have my drivers seat replaced due to the occupancy sensor throwing errors and the first thing I noticed was the seat felt different and was just assuming it was because it’s new but I noticed today the seat controls and the rails are different than my passenger seat. Are these new...
