Can't remember the details. I think the person had incorrectly put the wrong year into the trade-in estimator and noticed the price difference. The rest of the details were the same if I recall.. I think it was in this thread not too long ago.

Is the tax credit only applicable to 2023 models? I'm not in the US.

I kind of wonder if they are holding off issuing 2024 VINs until they sell most 2023 in order to avoid people rejecting their 2023.

I just got a vin for my MXP. But now that renders on the site show something under the hood, I'm wondering if I should wait. If it's either a camera or a frunk button then those are something I'd want. But it could be a shadow too. Who knows how long I would have to wait if I skip this delivery...

VIN assigned! EDD just went from dec-jan to Oct 30-nov 6. SG 20". Vin is 420xx.... Do I accept this or wait for a 2024?!? I don't even have a charger yet.

Curious why they would make such a subtle change to the grey color. From the pic it's clearly different side-by-side, but doesn't look like it would be a big enough difference to warrant the change and added paint option to all their service centers etc...

Changing my mind. No longer think it's a camera. Why can't they give us a damn front bumper camera, especially after removing USS? So annoying.

Think you're perspective is wrong. To me it's to the right of the emblem, not behind it. But no way to know for sure.

For anyone who has changed their config after they initially ordered their car, which order date is shown on the final invoice: the initial order date or the date on which the config changes were made?

My delivery got put on hold. I actually want it on hold. Emailed last week to ask it be put on hold and the person replied that they can't put it on hold because it might get cancelled if I did. Now I don't know if I should leave it on hold or not.

Order May 2021, black six seater. Got a phone call today saying that they had a car available for me, and that the original intended orderer didn't pick up the car. SA said he didn't know why they didn't pick up. Said it was a 2021 vin. I decided to not pick up, as I live really far away and...

For those of us without a VIN, here's hoping when we finally get our car it will have updated matrix headlights. With both the 3 and Y having matrix, there is no doubt it will come to S/X. Just a matter of when. I'm guessing they are just working through existing inventory.

Parliament doesn't sit again until Feb so won't be until then at least.

Man, the new Hummer EV, and the Rivian are looking really nice at this point. 0-60 in 3 seconds, power frunk, similar range to the X, 120V outlet, steering wheel, physical buttons, etc... The longer I wait, the more I consider cancelling my order.

Expect your vin before end of year. They build the West coast ones while the East coast ones are being shipped.

Nice. I'm black on black and regretting not getting the cream interior after seeing a black Porsche with cream interior.

West coast will be last to get mass deliveries, but I would still expect it this year. They can build the West coast cars while the East coast ones are en route.
