Well I finally received a replacement v4 pad from Jeda and unfortunately it does not work any better than the original one. The replacement was supposed to be “new and improved” based on information sent to me by Jeda customer service, but it simply does not work. I will be requesting a refund...
I am having the same issues with the v4 pad. Have been waiting 2 months so far on a replacement and Jeda is essentially ghosting me when I try to get any type of response from customer service. Very disappointing.
i do keep getting emails from them about new product offers and sales, but...
I did not really calculate an actual rate, but in rough numbers I was using about 1.5 to 1.8 km of range per km driven depending on my speed. If I took it easy and drove 85 to 90 km/hr it was much better than 120km/hr on the highway. The Model Y pulls like a champ though. You can tell the...
I have been emailing with Jeda support as well regarding the charging issues with the new v4 wireless pad. My order placed in January was for the v3 wireless pad. I am starting to think that I would have been better off without the “upgrade” to the v4 pad.
I am hopeful that Jeda will make...
I have been anxiously awaiting my v4 wireless pad since January and it finally arrived in Canada today. Much to my disappointment, my iPhone 8 Plus is only charging in the left portrait position. When I place it in either the right portrait or lower landscape position it charges for a few...
Check out this post for some details on the lock / hitch pin.

I am able to use the stock Kuat locking pin, inserted from the left side, although it is a bit challenging to guide the pin underneath the...
That was really quick. My order was just delivered to me in Canada. I will probably wait a bit to install as it is rather cold and snowy at present. Really looking forward to getting more use out of my frunk.
I guess the video and install documentation at the TeslaOffer site is required as...
Did The Frugal Tesla Guy do a Model Y install video? I found one for the Model 3 (which is similar), but would like to see one showing mounting and wire tidying on the Y.
I am interested. I have a couple questions as well.
Where does TO ship the power frunk kits from?
How will the group buy orders be handled (individual orders placed with group buy code or other)?
Thanks.
I am having exactly the same issue since getting updated to firmware 1.4.2.
I tried contacting the Home Charging customer support group at Tesla a couple weeks ago, and have been waiting for a response.
Just got notice of a new software update (2020.48.30) on my Model Y. I do not see any details yet on Teslafi.
I will see what shows up in the release notes once install completes.
I believe that my XPEL tint was 20%, but I could be wrong. I recall trying to decide between 20 and 35%, and the installer recommended one to most closely match the rear side windows.
Well I guess I am not alone with 2020.36.4.5 or older software. It seems that patience is required since update timing is dependant on Tesla.
Thanks to those that responded.
I have tried all the tricks (tap advanced multiple times, switch from standard to advanced, hold advanced, and a few others), but it seems that maybe these work if your VIN was already queued for install.
From the user manual on my Model Y:
As you approach (or drive away from) a device that is set to operate automatically, the HomeLink status icon displays a count-down message to let you know when the device will automatically open or close. In situations where you don't want the device to...
The new M3 and MY do not include Homelink and you actually have to purchase through online store and have mobile tech or service install. The cost including installation is US$300 (C$400).
Totally agree that the hitch cover needs a redesign. I cannot believe that with all of the innovation and technology on the Model Y, the cover attachment is nearly impossible to remove without breaking the clips.
I would stick with the Kuat NV. It is very well made and looks great on the back of my new Tesla. There is no room to insert the pin from the right side as the lock would be inaccessible (might get it on, but would be impossible to insert key to unlock). I am able to insert pin from left to...
I had a similar problem with the standard locking pin for my new Kuat NV 2 rack. I contacted the company and they have an alternate hitch pin that is more accessible in terms of size and key access.

Just got my Kuat Base NV 2.0 rack put together. Did you have any issues with limited space for the hitch pin lock on your Model Y. The space between the receiver and electrical socket makes it nearly impossible to get the pin and lock installed.
@geometro do you have any photos showing the NV base 2.0 installed on the MY. I have one one order and would love to see a photo in the raised position. How close to the bumper does the rack get when raised? Thanks.
