For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

Had my model 3 AWD serviced this week and while I was waiting for my car, I went ahead and asked several tesla employees from different departments about the hardware comparison (motors, inverters, etc) between the AWD and the performance model and therefore the possibility to purchase a...

Are there three different suspension height configurations?

On the online configurator, toggling back and forth between the standard range, the dual motor and the performance model, it seems like the height of the car is different going from higher to lower respectively. Is that just a design bug from the configurator or is the AWD lower than the...

Another Model 3 owner was able to unlock mine

I work in a building where they have chargers for electric cars in the parking lot and my black model 3 was parked, charging. There was another model 3 a few meters away parked, not charging. I was on a phone call on the second floor of my office building looking by the window where I could see...

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

I tried searching for the metal plate that states whether the rear motor is a 980 or a 990 and I can't seem to be able to locate it. I have a November 2018 AWD, which motor do you think it is equipped with? Shouldn't have read this thread, I've put lot's of hopes up, if it never happens, I'll...

For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

I went to the service center hoping to trade in my AWD (November 2018 build with 10K miles and FSD) for a performance, and they offered me 36K for it, which is close to 50% depreciation, it's ridiculous! So my only hope is that the upgrade becomes a real thing....

    AWD front motor sounds

Hi, what did you tell the service center for them to accept to replace the drive unit, I have been three times, they keep telling me the noise is normal and that they compared it with demo model 3 AWD and they all do the same noise. I wish they could replace mine, but I don't want to be 4 weeks...

    Degradation stabilized. I’m happy.

Yes they actually said that... What you shared is very interesting and would be the most logical (in my head). Hope you're right and that I can continue accelerating hard without compromising my battery health. Thanks for sharing!

    Degradation stabilized. I’m happy.

I only have 16 000km on my model 3 AWD non performance and I get 484km range on a 100% charge, 436km on a 90% and 393km on an 80%, so my battery seems to have degraded about 1 km per 1000km driven, Service says it will stabilize and that's it's because of my driving habits, I do quick...
