    Interior front pax door seal

Update- service tech turned up, manipulated the seal and foxed problem. He then informed me that the pax side strut on boot had a recall on a grommet and did that as well. Great service. No charge either.

    Interior front pax door seal

yeah i know that - however it isn't specified if its warranty or not. hence the confusion

    Interior front pax door seal

I have a $46 estimate, I have accepted it however I will challenge it when done. This is a warranty issue and happy to call out statutory warranty if they say its not covered.

How much does maintenance cost for Tesla Model Y/3 in Australia

It would be useful if we had a google spreadsheet which lets people enter what they have spent on maintenance at the 50,000, 100,000, 150,000 and 200,000 mark. Brake pads in particular would be interesting to see given we use the engine brake most the time. This may answer alot of questions for...

    Model-Y Comprehensive Insurance Recommendation

Budget Direct claims process, for me - has been woeful. I have had to chase them up a number of times to find out where my claim is at. they didnt update details that I asked to be updated when i spoke to them over the phone. I wont be insuring with them again as a result. They are a low risk...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

To be honest, with the likes of BYD and other manufacturers catching up - this should be thrown in for people at no cost. And having to pay extra for auto park on a car in this price range is not good. And it doesnt work as you have said.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

I should have also added occasional message about regenerative braking not working as well (or a message to that effect), sometimes it comes up with this warning, sometimes it doesn’t.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Don’t ask me how, but somehow the software update was toggled to ‘advanced’. So this pre-final software was understandably glitchy (speed limit max flickering on and off, warnings about limited regeneration), and also my Homelink didn’t work. When I discovered this (after troubleshooting my...

Making homelink work In equipped model S/X/3

so the equipment I used with the ATA GDO V9 was Ditec Compatible Remote ( RPC410 ) and Ditec Receiver ( RPR100-013 )from remotepro. The Telsa homelink recognised the remote control and flashed its lights. It also activated the door for a second or so (not from me pressing the remote) Next, in...

Making homelink work In equipped model S/X/3

FYI - Attaching the remote receiver (from remotepro) with the ATA GDO v9 was easy. All the pinouts required are there on the top right of the board, where you plug in the IR beam sensors.

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

This sucks. I think there should be a policy of some free supercharging offered when you get that sort of failure - pre delivery check? Surely they would test charging? One can only hope they see sense in opening up a Canberra office, given there seems to be ALOT of interest in Canberra for them.
