The VIN just shows the specs, manf. year etc. Judging from others, you can most likely in transit. May be 10-14 days from the final delivery.

Check the source code your vin should be there already.

Toronto-Lawrence response time. I left my contact information with the sales rep. (typed in on their iPad) asking them to search their inventory for an MX SR. She said give me 24hrs .... one week has past and still no feedback. Am I expecting too much from Tesla? If it is any other dealership...

talked to the sale advisor yesterday, it is confirmed that they can only take orders within the province, unlike in the US i suppose they can ship the car to any state.

Got only 8 miles on it, most likely a showroom unit ... If I order it online would Tesla ship the car to my home dealership or home delivery for free??

There is an MX in Calgary which I like but I am in Ontario

let me clarify my question ... i am looking at an online inventory unit in a distant location. since tesla sales their car "online" and the buyer can search the inventory based on location (zip code), we should be able to order any car on tesla's inventory list?

Do I have to pay extra if I place an online order for a car that is outside my province? For example, the car is in Calgary but my home location is Ottawa ...
