Thanks for the extra info. I have never charged my battery past 80%. Should I crank it up to 100% before a discharge to 50% just to trigger this? I wish the manual spoke about this. The tech did advise that the predicted range would adjust itself over the first few hundred miles, maybe this is why.

Great find. That does sound similar to what I'm experiencing. On its own it would be less alarming, but combined with the unusually harsh ride it is more concerning. I pinged that thread to see if anyone ever tracked it down.

Sure, I could try this. I fundamentally object to having to beg for them to fix their broken 66k luxury car. It's pretty sad that mobile service booking is broken on both iOS and Android. Tesla seems to have perfected an end to end, vertically integrated bad user experience.
