I've just added the question " What is the width and the length of the Model X?" as I couldn't find any official numbers on that. Overhere in tight European parking slots every inch (or better cm) counts
If you are leasing via US Bank - just make use of your Happiness Guarantee http://www.teslamotors.com/blog/significantly-improved-leasing-tesla-us-bank
This will also make the CPO buyer of your car happy.
Just have a look how the time spans between entries in this thread evolved over time. This gives a fairly well indication on how TMC improved the build quality since first deliveries:

I'm making the same experience. I think, Germans are still in the self-denial phase regarding EV's and Tesla, in particular. Highly conservative (not to say backward) - mentality combined with domestic automotive tradition is a dangerous mix these days. Absence of speed limits on the motorway...
This is a deja vue of what we've seen after the Three Dog Day. Most of the people out there have no clue what all these features of MX mean in terms of customer experience. Just give them some time to think about it and to find out for themselves.
You will be surprised, but this is how we wash our MS overhere all the time (with very few exemptions going for hand washing). There are no "touch-free" wash facilities in Germany due to regulation, I think.
There should be two positive effects on the earnings coming from the start of P85D/85D deliveries (with presumably higher margins) outside of the US and after price increases in Euro at the end of last years with cars delivered in 2Q.
Re 1. Exactly what I'm tryin to do - launching a ****storm on twitter and FB
Re 2. Gonna be difficult, if Siemens stops supplying their electric motors to Pipistrel
Pipistrel got into trouble with some big guys. Any ideas how we can support this electric propulsion pioneer?

There are quite a few owners from Munich on this forum: tff-forum.de. So you can pick an owner with your preferred configuration. I personally would go for a P85D
I had the same experience once at the supercharger :scared:. It worked when I was simultaniously opening the charge port from the touchscreen and another person gently pressed on the charge port. If you don't have anybody to assist you can try the same by using your key fob (push and hold on the...
While visiting the (not officially opened) Serivce Center in Bordeaux last week, I was told that Bordeaux will go online in the next couple of days/very soon
To get the range down to 125 miles you will have to go to German autobahn and drive at 200km/h for about an hour, I guess. With my S85 constantly going at 160-180km/h still gives me significantly more than 125 miles under normal traffic conditions. To constrantly keep 180km/h in Germany you will...
Fully agree with you. For my part, I think it's just fascinating to know that at some point this year there will be 100,000 Teslas driving around
I don't think TM would have another "launch party" without actually delivering at least a couple of cars at this occasion. And this is probably not going to happen before summer. Otherwise what's the point of going over the falcon wing doors again and again
Just wondering, what would potential implications from swapping for NextGen seats in some P85Ds be for 4Q earnings? Can TSLA re-use these rare seats somehow? On the other hand, the margin on P85Ds is probably also fairly "insane"
It's been slightly longer than two weeks, since I took delivery on June 21st (was busy driving since then ). The car is flawless and absolutely amazing in so many different ways. After I let a friend of mine driving last Sunday he said - "Wow, now I understand, what you're talking about...
Trying to link Alcoa's 1Q presentation stating "Record automotive sheet revenue" and 2Q Outlook where "Auto demand expected to stay strong". I guess, currently TSLA accounts for a big chunk of Alcoa's automotive production. Any thoughts?
