I have a 2021 MY (VIN82XXX). I have no issues with battery drain at all. I plug in with a target SOC to 80% every night. In the am, and actually most of the day when I'm not driving, SOC doesn't lose more than 1%. I have scheduled charging on, not scheduled departure. No sentry mode on at home...

I have the auto-dimming mirrors (VIN82XXX) so Suma not an option for me.

My bad. Correct, I was implying the darkness of the backup camera itself, which can be adjusted via software update. I guess I’ve never been outside my car when backing to notice the actual illumination. The side cameras are good and bright with no illumination so clearly an aperture setting...

I think so...they can adjust the aperature/exposure for the camera...similar to how you can on a phone camera. It's annoying, though.

Update: Finally had my SC appointment yesterday. They did try and charge me the $1600+, but one message through the app took care of that! Now, I also had them check the side view mirror adjustment and got the "within spec" response, so that fight will continue...different thread.

And just finished downloading and installing 2020.48.30 so I really have the “latest” although the last update was very underwhelming.

Totally agree. I don’t have FSD, don’t want FSD. The car can’t handle this simple task well at all. We’re a long way away from secure FSD. And based on the amount of complaining about the car not being able to publicly fart, I’m not sure many people should have FSD.

No. Inspection and access were no problem. In fact the payment process was never even a topic when scheduling pick up. I just ignored the payment reminder on my account, scheduled my pick up, showed up, inspected, and then SA asked at end whether I was paying online or with check. No biggie...

Same issue. I, also, am 6' 5". The drivers mirror is definitely an issue. It wasn't as bad or noticeable on test drive pre-auto dimming mirrors. My 827XX is an issue. I find myself really straining to see traffic on drivers side. I will report the issue as well. It's a problem.

Totally agree with this. It’s no different than free maintenance on any ice car. There’s very little cost to manufacturer. As far as “mental value” sure. It’s much higher. But when you have plans for several, multi-thousand mile road trips coming up, the value is high. To me. To each his own.

Picked up my 2021 MY LR AWD, MSM, 20", Tow VIN 827XX today! Only one very minor panel issue that was solved immediately. Everything else was flawless.

No worries. Home charging and work charging are certainly primary. This just opens up plans to visit some family (hopefully) that we obviously haven't seen this year. Road trips!

The rebalancing process (I would go to a tire store vs SC) would diagnose immediately if it was a balance issue. And if weights didn't solve it then likely foam issue. Tire warranty should cover. If balancing by a qualified tech solved it on machine, then there is something else going on.
