Maybe it sounds better in real life 🤣 I wouldn’t count on it though. All the people taking delivery so far are suggesting that it only activates in reverse.

From what I hear, GB cars only have reverse activated.... ATM 😬 I am with you, really dislike the fwd noise, and really hope they don’t activate that in the U.K. !!

Hello @Alic01, I am sure you are correct, but just to satisfy my curiosity, where do you see that in the inventory spec?

I think someone (not sure how) was looking at the inventory M3P cars and found out (somehow) that it was the BT42 battery i.e. the same 82kw Panasonic battery used in Fremont. Not sure how accurate that is !!

Because PWS is present (been confirmed in other forums) on new deliveries, and because I was interested. And as mentioned this conversation started elsewhere (then got switched by the moderator), and this was part of the original subject.

That’s right, at least that is the information given for the M3P cars in inventory.

Oliver is not telling you. He knows. We know he knows !! I have VIN, text and now we all know our M3P cars are on Hyperion Ray... which we know has departed !! This agent is just being unhelpful. Try another one later.

I would be very interested to learn more about the Pedestrian Warning System functionality: - Can it be switched on/off? - Can the volume be controlled, other than driving at different speeds? - Is it just PWS or does it have a Boombox i.e. can the sounds be changed?

It looks like new LR and SR+ cars being delivered into the U.K. have a Pedestrian Warning System at low speeds. I would be very interested to hear from anyone receiving cars from Shanghai this week, to confirm or post videos. Can you turn this off / on as well ? Are there different sound options...
