I heard the same from my SA, so it seems this might be true.

That link doesn’t work. I just talked to my SA, and he says that this time the VIN is real. The car is built and outside the factory. They’re just waiting for it to be moved to the delivery center, after which they will call me to schedule delivery.

Third day with a VIN assigned and still no contact from the delivery team. I hope it doesn’t disappear again ...

For those that got a VIN, how long did it take for delivery team to contact you?

So I got another VIN assigned 206*** with an estimated delivery between 6/10-6/16. Let’s see if this one actually sticks :D

Still here. Also ordered 4/9. Got a VIN last week then it disappeared. Still waiting ...

I texted my SA this morning, and he said that he’d look into it. He then called and said something along the lines of that I should not have been matched to that VIN and asked if I can be flexible about some of the options of the car. He then said he’d look to see what he can find. I haven’t had...

So the VIN disappeared from my account this morning, and now it says estimated delivery of 9-13 weeks. That is insane! I ordered 4/9 and it said 5-10 weeks at the time ... When the VIN appeared on my account, my SA said I should have the car delivered in a few days. Let’s see what he says now...

Finally got a VIN assigned! It’s been the weirdest car buying experience. I ordered 4/9 and never had any indication of estimated delivery date in the account. Still have no idea when it will be delivered, but at least there’s a VIN now!!

Thanks! I guess if I don't see anything show up by the end of the week, I'll probably call to see if there might be some issue with the order, as I never saw any estimated date on my account.

Did you have the same issue originally where you don't see any estimated delivery window. I'm asking because it seems everyone else gets a ballpark estimate of delivery after ordering (even though it's not very accurate), and it seems I'm the only one that doesn't have one.

I ordered a Model Y on 4/13, and completed all of the information, however I don't see any delivery window on my reservation (never have since day 1). Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
