I got a quote from my preferred local shop (Raleigh, NC area) for $2,080 for full front coverage of self-healing PPF and $880 for ceramic. I'll add tint and then there's a local sales tax on top of that.

I will vouch for this. Ceramic makes a big difference in ease of care if you're a regular vehicle washer like me. My 2021 Model 3 LR was the first time I'd had ceramic on a vehicle and I really enjoyed how easy it was to keep clean because of it.

Short answer: Not quite. Longer answer: They mostly fit, but there are some small differences that make them not quite line up in a few places.

I'd love to see how you housed this in the console if it's on the back. I've got an ambient light kit to install and it would make things far more convenient if I could connect everything from the rear of the console.

Xpel tint. 20%. I usually do 35 but darker felt better for this one.

The back has a partial tint up to the roof I think. I need to check that. So many things to play with at the moment. 😆

Thanks man! The center caps on the Orbitals lock in and you can’t remove the covers without taking them out. Without the right tools to remove the center caps the covers would just get damaged broken if someone tried to force it. That may or may not be more comforting. :)

Finally home safe and sound. I am very pleased to report that I've been through my entire checklist and I can't find a single issue with it. My demo gamble paid off! Already through the Orbital covers on before it goes in for tint/PPF/ceramic tomorrow morning.
