You might still be fine. My trade in was supposed to expire on 6/17. But to my surprise on 6/17 I checked the app and found that the expiration date got extended to after my expected delivery of 6/30.My trade in expires 6/30. Yes. The last SA I spoke to was kind of rude. I asked him if he had any insight on the EDD and he told me to check my app. Like I haven’t already checked a thousand times. This process is pretty irritating. I’d rather have a broad EDD that is far out, than this specific EDD that gets pushed out repeatedly.
We had a similar experience. We did the trade in details right away and the offer was good through 6/24. EDD was 6/17-6/30. Last week trade offer was extended to 6/30. Then found they had 1000mi limit on trade in value. Wanted to give them our new odometer reading to get updated trade offer but they now said wait for the VIN to be assigned.
VIN miraculously appeared just hours later, haha. Txt the SA our updated odometer reading. Never got an updated trade value. EDD now 7/1-7/7. Tired of messing around so we are selling the car today and will be down a car for a few weeks. Lose the tax savings on a trade but know what our $ situation is, save on gas and insurance a bit, and jut pay all cash for the car. Not perfect but it is what it is.It seems to me that all Californians are getting theirs at the same time. I heard someone said by the end of the quarter.
