Well, yes you can access it while at Yokohama Service at least. When I got my car back, it was still on their wifi and I could login in with service as the password. This leads me to believe it is the wifi network that enables access?

I will be at the Yokohama service center on Tuesday - will try and ask them for the password if it doesn't.

As the title suggests does anyone know the password? In the North American market, it is 'service' but that doesn't work in Japan.

I think you should talk to Tesla Japan. The loaner car they gave me from the Yokohama service dept last year was a US model that came from the Solomons. So it can be done - had all the Japan options going.

It is on the service M3LR I have right now from Yokohama so it is not against any laws, perhaps they just don’t want to offer it here…I will ask when I return the car if it can be had.

I think your best bet is at the airports, Narita will be the cheapest. https://www.sunparking.co.jp/index.html seems to have an EV service.

From my experience so far, Tesla doesn't give 2 cents. This contamination most likely was from transport to Japan, sitting at the docks, etc. . Just surprised how much was on a brand new car. Just glad I did it, the graphene coating is fantastic from Adams after the first rain we had.

I just finalized mine today, it’s now 11,000 per month. Includes a car rental as I’ve heard you need to wait a long time for repairs. ¥6m for new car replacement as well.

Can’t speak to the law but I’ve never seen that type. Also, as the plate in Japan has a special seal over one of the attachment screws, I’m sure you can’t.

I cannot believe this but in addition to the CHAdeMo adapter costing Y51,100, you also have to pay for a mobile connector if you want one. The mobile connector is standard and included with the car in ALL other markets to my knowledge...

You are not limited with ZESP3 - you get so many charges included with your package. When you go over that amount you are charged per 10 minutes at the rate for your package. At least that is my understanding.
