The SA said he thinks this is intentional so people don't buy them and then return them when their car comes with one... I don't know how true that is though. Probably not.

I had a SA tell me that they'll be included until March 31st, and they don't know what's going to happen from April 1st.

I've never needed a spare, I have needed a puncture repair kit though. My last few cars have come without spares.

I think it's more likely there'll be a push to bring delivery times back under control, especially since they're upgrading the Model 3 line capacity.

The Model 3 line is supposed to be shut down for another 2 weeks, but I wonder if they'll manage to complete the work ahead of schedule? Does anyone know how the Model Y line upgrades went?

I may have missed something, but those are all LHD cars aren't they?

I was going for the worst case. I agree - if someone is going to struggle paying off a loan when it increases by that much they should consider if this is the right thing to do!

I guess it depends on people's borrowing capacity, but that's a difference of $100-$200 a month right? Might be enough to push people to reconsider?

I have everything crossed that the factory going back to full time, the upgrades, the extended EDD on the order page, increased pricing etc etc all means that we'll see the backlog cleared out sooner than we expect.

I think by default it uses some region settings from your computer or browser - I'll see if I can force a sensible date format. EDIT: Fixed it - the sheet had the wrong setting for locale!

I have my doubts that they'll really be catching up with most orders so soon.

I hope that the production capacity increases along with the return to full production capacity will mean our wait times are lowered significantly over the coming weeks/months. They're expecting to be able to produce over 1,000,000 cars a year after the upgrades at Gigafactory Shanghai!

I ordered the Gen 3 wall connector and a bunch of other things on 11/07/2022 and it all arrived 14/07/2022. Now I get to stare at all this stuff I don't have any use for yet!
