It really hasn't worked for Trump. Negative stories about him have multiplied and his popularity hasn't really gone up, nor has he gained new supporters. Tesla, as a business, cannot afford the polarization, as they need their addressable market to include everyone.

A P100DX can be compared to an exotic. Not a Model 3 or an X 75. And X75s are priced like an exotic in Turo. I also see the fuel savings being largely offset by extra Supercharging time, so that's a wash.

I don't think the rental fee should bake in risk. A Turo insurance policy should be baking in that risk. Rental price should only reflect the competitive clearing price for a car in that category.
